Chris Brown Finally ENDS Debates On Being Compared To Michael Jackson; Says, ‘He's Light Years Away, There Is No Competing’!
Chris Brown called the comparison as “Cap” adding that the late Michael Jackson was light years ahead of him
Chris Brown has been compared to the King of Pop Michael Jackson for a long time now. The singer has ended the debate once and for all during a recent interview with Big Boy on Monday, June 20.
The Royalty hitmaker called the comparison as “Cap” adding that the late Michael Jackson was light years ahead of him.
In his latest interview, Chris Brown ended the comparison saying, “I stay the hell up out of [that argument.] I'ma keep it 100. I kind of back off of it. My personal take on it, I wouldn't even be breathing or even be able to sing a song if that man didn't exist.” Brown added, “So, I don't know if they look at it as a [Michael] Jordan and Kobe [Bryant] thing but I don't."
He continued, “I can't even look at it. He's light years away. There is no competing. Hell no. I got shrines and s**t of this man hanging up in my house. Hell nah, I ain't better than him."
In 2019, 50 Cent had claimed that Chris Brown was better than the late musical icon. That same year, Justin Bieber too posted on Instagram giving Chris Brown his flowers. Bieber uploaded an image titled “The Legendary Equation” which goes 'Michael Jackson plus Tupac equals Chris Brown'.
For the unversed, Chris Brown had given a tribute to the late icon at the 2010 BET Awards. Since then, the 39-year-old actor has been the hot topic for debate about whether he is better than Michale Jackson or not. When asked how he deals with the comparisons, Chris Brown said that he stays the hell out of it.
On the work front, Chris Brown is gearing up for the release of his new album ‘Breezy’ on June 24.
